Title: Likes & Dislikes - Due by Friday May 3rd
Make two different
lists, one for all of your likes and another for all of your dislikes.
List from fifteen to twenty very specific items in each column. Your
columns need to be equal, if you have 16 likes you need 16 dislikes.
However, do not call people by specific names, generalize instead, like:
"that mean teacher who is making me write a blog"
If you get stuck share some ideas with a classmate! You may find you have some stuff in common! To help you get started check out my very specific examples below.
Likes (Note: These are in no particular order or ranking)
1. Married Life
2. Dirt Track Racing - my all time favorite summer activity next to tanning of course
3.
Sunshine and summertime - tan lines, warm weather, mowing the yard,
gardening, swimming, all the things that come with summertime (Don't
forget SUMMER BREAK!!)
4. Running, Running, Running - future plans this year are to do a half marathon
5. Fried Tacos, a family favorite!
6. Student Council!! One of the reasons I wanted to become an educator!
Dislikes (Note: These are in no particular order or ranking)
1.
People who cannot spell definitely correctly! It is D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y
not D-E-F-I-A-N-T-L-Y, you are defying nobody, just definitely doing
something.
2. The incorrect use of your/you're and there/their/they're
3. People who are just plain lazy! There is no excuse for laziness, get up and do something with yourself!
4. Computers that are not Apple
5. Slow cashiers at Wal-Mart!!
6.
People who judge others, especially those that are "religious" and
still judge other people. They need to leave the judging to God and work
on bettering themselves because they can change themselves, no one
else.
